Thank you, thank you, thank you. In October I had my ’51 S60 D5 tuned by you to 204bhp and 435Nm. I have waited until now before writing to get about 2000 miles on the clock. My face now aches from my constant grin as I drive. Any more power would really need AWD. Motorway cruising, effortless. Need to pass someone, effortless. Want to surprise a BMW /Mercedes driver, effortless (I used to own a 328i). Unrivalled comfort, startling power, awesome sound system and superb mpg. To anybody else thinking about it, buy yourself or partner a remap for Christmas and just drive.

I carried out significant amounts of research on enhancing the performance of my Volvo and discovered that not only is RICA held in very high regard but happily for me PWCars is only about 5 miles from my house! Had a long conversation with the very knowledgeable team and decided that my diesel geartronic S60 (163 bhp) would benefit from the sport tune option. I handed over my car and the requisite and in return was delivered a car that brings a huge smile to my face every time I drive it. Not only is the engine smoother, faster (very very much faster) but somehow, and I’m sure this breaks some law of physics somehow, much more economical too!
I am delighted with the performance upgrade, in real world driving the S60 is everything you’d want a car to be, my advice is don’t hesitate get Rica’d today and really see what your Volvo can do. All the very best to Jerry and the team and thanks for making the transition from a 4.2 litre V8 to a 2.4 diesel a lot less traumatic than I expected.

Volvo V70 (Phase II) 2.5T with LPG Conversion |
| ECU mod: |
RICA Volvo V70 2.5T Remap (£590.00 inc VAT) |
| Power increases: |
From 200BHP to 235BHP - Torque from 285Nm to 380Nm |
I have a Volvo 2.5T which had been converted to LPG using the Prins multi point injection system and because I already had the cheap fuel option I thought there would be room for increasing the power. I therefore had the car upgraded with the RICA performance upgrade, now it would not be true to say that I was upset with the performance before the tune, it was just that low down the torque was quite evidently different to when the turbo kicked in. But after the tune, oh my gosh what a difference, now I am over the moon with the performance, I even got an increase in efficiency of 1-2 MPG on motorway “Cruise Control” driving, unfortunately I drive with my foot to the floor on non motorway driving, so no fuel efficiency saving there. So in summary for the cost, performance boost and fuel efficiency, I would not hesitate endorsing this upgrade for any car like mine and oh yes and there was no problem whatsoever with the LPG, no changes needed.

I just wanted to say a quick thanks for the RICA 210 sports upgrade to my S60 D5. The car was fast before, but it's in a different league now. The torque gain is fantastic, and I've also seen an improvement in mpg from 48.7mpg to approx 53 mpg at the moment after resetting the trip computer.

Dear PWC
Having recently had my Volvo RICA modified by yourselves I wish to thank you for transforming my diesel powered, ordinary family estate, into a very quick supercar.
The D5 engine has lost its lag, is now very responsive and massively quicker on acceleration in any gear. I am advised it will nudge 140 miles per hour and at the same time save me 5 miles per gallon, how can that be?
Needless to say I am delighted, the new driving experience is simply astonishing. My car was simply OK before, but now is so much better and immense fun to drive.
Many thanks.

Jeremy,
At last I have found some valuable time to let you and the rest of the team at PWCars know just how pleased I am with not only an excellent friendly service, but also a fresh approach to customer service and upgrade facilities.
I am unable to state the amount of enjoyment I have experienced since having my 850R chipped by PWCars; smile on the face fails to justify the exact experience, To any owners of T5 850’s or 850 R’s if you would like to experience the pure Wolf in the proverbial sheep’s clothing scenario then chip that baby, Trust me you will not regret it.
Fuel consumption is relatively minor but power increase is phenomenal only trouble now is the caravan has trouble keeping up with the car (Any suggestions????)
Once again thanks to all at PWCars keep up the good work.

From 140BHP to 170BHP - Torque figures unknown |
I just wanted to drop you a line to say how pleased I am with by V70 2.5D which was chipped when I bought it from PWC. The result has been to give all important performance to a solid workhorse of an engine between 2,500 and 4,000 rpm.....just what is needed to overtake caravans on a trip up to the coast!
Having owned several V70s in the past this set up is the most fun I have had since our T5!
Best regards,

I am astonished with the effect of the upgrade on the chip for the Volvo. It produces considerably enhanced performance and, what is more surprising, better economy producing 41.9 miles per gallon.
Best wishes

Thought I would tell you how good the enhanced V70 experience is. Definately a very good drive now. Pulling out from junctions and overtaking are easy with the extra 40 BHP and a surge to max. torque between 2900 and 3400 rpm. All this with an instant response, no turbo-lag. A cost-effective improvement to an 'entry-level' engine.
